i'm back from a long journey

Seoul. Hong Kong. Beijing. America.
Thank you, Lord, for opportunities.

Best shows in recent memory:
My Bloody Valentine - 126 - 136 db. Wow.
Woven Hand - seeing David Eugene Edwards whisper "men will beg God to kill them, and they won't be able to die" into the microphone in a sweaty, packed crowd in Silverlake's SPACELAND was a wonderful, terrifying, God-fearing thing to witness.
Music is a blessing.

Frozen architecture.

I am currently reading Barrie's Peter Pan, Anne Rice's Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt, a book on Postmodernism, and a book by Basho.

I am currently listening to Glen Campbell, yacht rock, the Winter Flowers, Woven Hand's Ten Stones, John Cage, Ryuichi Sakamato, Japanese koto music, DJ Tiesto's free club podcast.
